Hey guys! So I haven’t been writing regularly at all, but I’m just going to jump right in and pretend like no time has past at all (because I don’t know where to start).
This weekend will include the beach with John and meeting my family in Disney World. I am more excited right now than I’ve been about anything in a long time. I love Florida with my whole heart and can’t wait to cross the state line, sit on the beach, and spend time in Disney with my family. I’m stoked to be going with John. I seriously can’t wait. Plus I haven’t been to Disney World in 16 years. And here’s an old picture from one of our many Disney World trips as kids…
In the meantime, I still need to pack and make sure everything is set to go. I hate packing, but if the beach is involved, the dread-factor goes waaaay down.
I started feeling just slightly under the weather last night, so today I made this
sweet & sour drink. I can uderstand if it’s not for everyone because it truly is nothing but spicy and sour, but it is one of my favorites.
Green Apple Ginger Smoothie
- 1 green apple
- about an inch of fresh ginger
- 1 lime peeled
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp maca powder
- (And I would have added a handful of spinach if I had remembered)
